Windows XP Error?

Hi guys,

I just got in and when to turn my machine on, but get this message shortly after the Bios screen...

Windows could not start because of an error in the software.
Please report this problem as:
load needed DLLs for kernel.
Please contact your support person to report this problem.

Any ideas? I checked my email before going to college this morning? Had a normal shutdown etc, and then this?

somehow your kernal DLL file wasn't install properly, you need to reinstall it and see what happens
