I am a field tech for a cable modem isp. I have been seeing dns problems with win XP home and pro. The problem is that I can release and renew ip but cannot access internet.All tcp/ip settings in network adapter properties are correct.When I have the same problem with win9x,I delete the network adapter and winsocks and restart the computer.This fixes my problem. I would greatly appreciate any solutions.
