I have a WIndows 2000 Server with 30+ Windows XP Pro Workstations.
After working fine for 1 year, this Dell Dimension 3100 appears to be dropping it's connection to the mapped drives on the WIndows 2000 Server.
What happens is this:
I power up the Dell in the morning & it's fine for 1/2 hour to an hour.
At that point, access to the mapped drives becomes slow slow, it appears to have stopped.
I've tried:
1. Disabling the on-board Intel Pro/100 VE Network Adapter & installed a D-Link board. The problem corrected for a couple of months, but came back.
2. Moving the Dell to a different office & LAN connection didn't make a difference.
Any ideas on this would be appreciated. None of the other Workstations my LAN have this issue.
