I did a clean reinstall yesterday and today when I went to customize my users I found a user called Asp.net Machine A..., is this normal and if so what application does this. The user account does not appear at the welcome screen only in the usser account section. Please help

asp.net is the user account that your asp.net applications run under. If you installed the .NET framework, that would probably be where the account got created (I wouldn't think it was visual studio, since you *technically* don't need it to create asp.net applications).

Don't worry, its not a bad thing.

Thank you, you just saved me another clean install, I was about to nuke my drive thinking that it was a unauthorized user account that was created. Thanks Again Roberto
