Hello All,
I'm having a weird problem with Windows XP. I am trying to use a piece of software that sends alphanumeric pages via a modem. The first time I try to send a page, it fails. If I stop the software package and restart it, everything works fine. As soon as I reboot the system, com1 fails again until I cycle my paging software!?!
It looks like something is grabbing the com port, but why can I access the port by simply cycling my paging software?
Is anybody else seeing behavior like this?
Thanks....
