windows will not create bootlog.txt

to solve a bigger problem i need to view the bootlog.txt file. the trouble is, even when i select create bootlog from the boot options menu i can't find it anywhere on the hard drive. i am running windows me with 256mb and a 1ghz pentium 3. any ideas please.

I assume you know its a "hidden" file created on the root drive. Normally C:\...
You will probably find another named "bootlog.prv"
From Explorer /Tools/Folder Options/View.. enable view hidden files..
