does anyone else have problems with the windows validation tool "stopping" wsus updates or software distribution through gpo.
It has happened a couple of times to me now. My clients stopped getting updated and I have to physically visit each client and manually run a new release of windows validation tool. Once I run the new validation tool everything starts working again. It hasnt been that much of a problem in the past because it just seemed to stop the wsus updates, but the last time it happened the oracle client software that is installed through a gpo stopped working and the users stopped getting their oracle client software. All of a sudden i had users everywhere who couldnt get to their oracle applications.
