In our company most computers have Windows 2000 as the operating system, but with different service packs (some have SP2, some SP3 and other SP4).
My question is now, how do I update these computers best ?
Some updates are already included in the service packs and updating those computers with already installed updates could cause problems (and/or is useless)?
How do I proceed ?

I've already installed those feature packs, but the problem is the deployment: which update to send to who.
I don't want to work on an individual basis (too much work) to deploy the updates.
Should this work :
I run the inventory program on a computer with no service pack installed. This should give me the list of all the available updates for win2k.
Can I deploy all these updates to all computers (running win2000) ? Even to those that have service packs installed ?
