Windows updates on Unity 5.0 and IPCC 5.0

Hi, What would be the best practice to do the windows updates for
UNITY 5.0
IPCC 5.0
I heard the there are Cisco for Microsoft updates that we can download from Cisco website, how current are these Cisco update compare to Microsoft update?

The cisco updates are a bit behind as they get tested by CISCO before released. You want to use the cisco site as a reference and not Microsoft.
The IPCC OS is CISCO specific so you HAVE to use the CISCO updates or you will break your IPCC.

i just heard from my vendor that we can download the msupdate directly from Microsoft for the Unity server.

The IPCC must be from Cisco.

Can someone confirm?

Confirmed. I still use cco for even Unity updates however.
That way I do not install an unsupported patch or something along those lines by accident.
