Every time we Install Windows 98/Windows NT/Windows 2000 Windows XP we have to download the update from Microsoft site and it’s a big file in 100s of MB, is there any way we can update by running sort of setup file which we can store in the hard disk and run it as and when required. Or order from Microsoft. Any Ideas. Thanks.

U can set up a Windows Catalogue Server on your LAN, this info is burried within the MS site buts it's very useful. This way u can download updates from the MS Site and have your clients download from your LAN based server. Not cracked the auto distribute to clients within AD yet, would b intereste to hear from anyone who can get the updates auto distributed under a system account or something similar.

cheers
