Windows update problem

hi there,
i'm trying to use windows update from on the college network and i get this message
[Error number: 0x8DDD0004]
Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested page. Try refreshing the page, clearing your Internet Explorer Temporary Internet Files, closing and restarting Internet Explorer, or trying Windows Update again later.
Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Sounds like a firewall issue. Talk to the system administator and see if they can help you do a windows update. Or mabey you have your security settings for the internet zone set to high or have active x or scripts disabled. Or mabey you are running a software firewall.

This error indicates an issue with the Windows Update activex agent for the new V5 site.
