I am getting this error trying to update the IE9 to IE10.

My windows 7 edition is home 64 bits.

Most people that have this error, have other windows updates that failed to install, which cause ie10 to not install correctly, check your update log to see if any others have failed, also seems to be some chatter about .net framework 4 not being up to date. Installing .net framework 4.5 should fix this issue if you have it. Also check to make sure you have all of the drivers, and they are up to date for the system installed.
