Hi Everyone,

I have a question about Windows Time. I have two applications that are
giving the incorrect time. One is a mail client (Eudora their latest
version) and I have another program that sets its time by the local time of
the computer. Eudora it shows up when sending or checking mail (shows times
off by 5 hours). The other program tries to schedule something but it is off
by 5 hours also. The local computer has the correct time (viewing it in the
windows taskbar) and even if I check with w32tm everything is again correct.
The timezone is also correct. The two applications are suppose to set their
times from the local computers time. Is there anywhere else that time needs
to be corrected?

P.S. I have also checked the BIOS time and that is correct also

Thanks, in advance,

Ross

I'm guessing that it's checking the right time, but is set to the wrong time zone. Double-check that to be sure in Eudora's settings.

You could try this, but I would also check with your Server or ISP in case that is where the problem is.

Start, Run, CMD

net stop w32time
w32tm /unregister
w32tm /unregister
w32tm /register
net start w32time

Task Bar Clock display/e-mail time(s) - WRONG !

Also, to synchronize the clocks

net time \\computer /set
