Hello,

Need your help on the following challenge.

I have a current 15 user Windows 2000 server running Terminal Services and CITRIX. The server is also the current licensing server for its 15 TS CALS.

Now we have purchased a new server and installed it with Windows 2003 Std Ed and Terminal Services.
The goal is to move users from the old server to the new one and then close down the old Windows 2000 server.

So I need help on figuring out on how to share these 15 licenses between the servers (if possible?), while we move users over?

Any tips, I am very new on WTS licensing.

Thanks
joe

You can't share the licenses because 2003 needs a 2003 licensing server and 2003 licenses.

A 2003 licensing server can server both 2003 and 2000 terminal servers, but a 2000 TSLS will only work with 2000 terminal servers.
