Folks can someone verfiy.. as far as I know Windows 2003 Storage Server does NOT support applications. It is only for file/print services only. I can't install SQL server on it per se and have it run can I? Anyone have experience with this. Thanks.

You are spot on, can't install sql, exchange etc etc. Applications that use an embedded database such as sql or msde should work though.

Thanks Paul, I was sure of this.. but apparently my customer managed to install Windows 2003 standard on this HP NAS device and has been using it as an app server all this time.. YIKES.
