I'm having an infuriating problem with Win2K on a DELL Inspiron 8000 laptop.
Windows always boots up in a small screen in the middle of the monitor (centered output).
Every time I switch the machine on I have to go to monitor settings, select advacned, twin view, output device, screen adjustment and finally "use display adapter scaling". The
only other way around this is to use the resolution 1600x1200, which I don't want to do.
A complete re-installation of Windows did not help, nor has updating to the latest video driver.
And now a further problem has occured (which has also happened to our second Inspiron), the "Twin View" panel under "display" has completely dissapeared and I can't get it back, dispite trying different video drivers.
Can anyone suggest anything?
Many thanks
Adam
