Upon starting up my computer I get a 'Spool 32' error window, my mouse driver is not running, my CD-Rom drive will not open (although power runs to it at start up and the computer reads the cd in there at start up)and graphics appear to be running in safe mode (looks like half the pixels are missing), I can access all programmes via keyboard but any attempt to open the printer programmes fails (nothing happens)and it takes a while to get into Control Panel.
All saved passwords were also deleted by this problem and required re entering.
I've tried virus scans, disk scans, start up disks, advice from IT friends all to no avail.
I haven't installed anything new on the machine recently.

Looking forward to any help.

what OS? can you boot to safe mode? to command prompt? it's a shotgun approach, but with all the problems and no solutions... kill it and reinsall. hope someone else has a better idea...

good luck.
