I am trying to find some resources to check for Windows SBS 2003. Trying to Passthru to internet from an existing W2K domain thru the SBS server which is conected to the Internet thru a DSL Connection. any resources to search thru would be most helpful. Thank You

So you've got two domains on the same cabling network? An existing Win2k domain and a new SBS2k3 domain?

If you're using ISA to control access to the internet, it will restrict access to only those computers that are members of the SBS domain. IOW, you would need to remove the computers from the Win2k domain and join them to the SBS domain.

Do you need to have the Win2k domain separate? If not, you can demote that server and then join it to the SBS domain as a member server. You would then need to add all the Win2k client computers to the SBS domain.

If you need to keep the separate domains, you'll need to get a switch to put between your DSL connection and your servers so that they can physically share the connection.

There is an existing domain in place. the domain controller, Exchange server, Sql Server, Terminal server with Citix installed, and an application server. All servers except the SQL server are running on W2K. Planning on upgrading SQL to W2K in the 1st quarter of new year, migrating Exchange server to SBS server and doing away with Citrix around same time frame. In the mean time ,need to keep old Domain in place.Would your last post still be the best course of action for this short term( hopefully) problem?
