windows shared printer - jobs overlapping

I have a printer shared among 3 users on a peer to peer windows 95 environment. They are all running a shared DOS app, The host their respective LPT1 ports to the printers share name. They are finding that print jobs are overlapping. The start of one job is sometimes appearing at the end of a previous job from one of the other users.
Any clues?
