Hi,

When you set up windows 2003 server, does it automatically only show disks hanging off the lowest numbered controller or should it show all possible disk installed?

I have a scsi array conroller and also a HBA with some LUNS hanging off it, but when I run setup I only see the SCSI array controller disks. The HBA is set up correctly.
Would you normally see the HBA disks as well?

thanks

Mike

At the beginning of Windows Setup, you are prompted to "Press F6 if you need to install a third party SCSI or RAID driver...". You will need to install the HBA driver from floppy disk or slipstream the driver into your Windows installation media to pick up the drives at setup.

yeah, it probably is that. Windows setup does have built in support for alot of HBA drivers, but maybe not this one. I suppose ill have to check out that 1st. cheers
