Hi I have a small business with 4 employees. I want to setup Windows server with VPN access so that everyone can access the shared files from anywhere in the world. Is this possible? Before buying the server software I wanted to be sure I can VPN into the server. Please advise. If possible, a user guide on how it will work. Thanks

You can also buy a mid tier router with VPN support and do it for cheap. Not sure how secure you are wanting to do this or with any particular methodology. Long story short, there are many ways to skin this cat.
