Hi all,

I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 virtual running under Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V.

Over the past few days it has been giving me a few issues with the virtual network card that's installed under Hyper-V.

Today on the other hand it has just gone and died on me completely. I have tried looking through the MS TechNet site for fixes to similar issues and come up with a few Vista fixes but nothing for what I have.

The network card shows up as working in Device Manager but the card is not detecting any IP address if set to DHCP. If set to static the card hols the IP, Subnet & DNS information but doesn't hold the gateway address.

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue in the past or if they know anyone that has and managed to successfully fix it?

Any help passed on for this one gratefully accepted and willing to try anything at the moment as the server that is down hosts our SharePoint sites and workspaces.

Thanks,
A stressed out Dave.

If at 1st you don't succeed then I guess your i the right place to ask why! :p
