If you are suffering from "black cursors" on your HP T5545 Thin Clients (linux version), do this...
In Administrative mode from the Thin Client, go to the shell prompt.
Type the following commands in order:
fsunlock
apt-get upgrade
fslock
shutdown -r now
... and enjoy proper cursors. There was a bug with the Linux RDP, that has since been fixed. It took me a lot of digging to find the information, but I have done it successfully and everything is good.
