If you are suffering from "black cursors" on your HP T5545 Thin Clients (linux version), do this...

In Administrative mode from the Thin Client, go to the shell prompt.

Type the following commands in order:

fsunlock
apt-get upgrade
fslock
shutdown -r now

... and enjoy proper cursors. :) There was a bug with the Linux RDP, that has since been fixed. It took me a lot of digging to find the information, but I have done it successfully and everything is good.

Hope this helps someone!

Not related to post but quick question...
Do you find these thin clients to be adequate?
Im getting ready to run some Wyse thin clients and not a big fan as of now with them on a Windows embedded.

Other than this one issue I have found them to be great boxes. Dual monitor support, multimedia support (although I don't use that) works fine with our barcode readers.
