Hello,

I have several Windows Server 2003 Standard Machines. Two of these are File Servers & the other are used for Proxy Serves, mailservers etc.

I have 250 Windows Server CAL 2003 User Cal's. Can someone please tell me how to assign these to the servers? Do I need to split the Cals's between each server or do I allocate to a central server?

How do I actually add the licenses to the server????

Go to your site license server (by default, the first domain controller set up in your environment) and go to Administrative Tools -> Licensing.

For your environment, I would use per seat licensing. With per seat licensing, each client is licensed to access as many servers as needed.
