Hi Everyone,

We are currently running Business Objects Enterprise XI R1 on a Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition Service Pack 1. BOE is original install with some hot fixes applied. Have not as yet loaded any BOE SP's.

Our windows administrators want to install Windows 2003 SP2 which has been available since 2006.

The BO supported platforms documentation does not show it as being supported for BOE XI R1 or even for R2! Contact with tech support yielded the same answer - not supported and could not provide any other forward looking info.

I have searched every BO discussion forum I can, with little reference to be found.

My windows admins advise that 2003 SP2 is largey bug fixes and "should" have no consequences.

Is anyone using BOE XI R1 (or R2) with Windows 2003 SP2?

Can you share your experience or advice?

Many thanks,

Malcolm.
