windows server 2003 public/private dns problems

hello, I am experiencing a particular problem with my dns whereas if i have 2 records on the same dns server in the same zone with the same name, but with two separate IP addresses (one public,one private) I am unable to restrict the private IP from being passed to the public network. I can provide any more information necessary, but the basics are below:

zone type: AD Integrated
name: project7sound.com
example records: mpro.project7sound.com, project7sound.com

I only have but one dns server, i do not have the option of using two at the moment, and i do not have any type of firewall that will process that type of information for filtering.
any help is appreciated

the dns server that is authoritative is on my network, it's a server in a DMZ on the inside of my network, the server is the only server running AD, dns, dhcp, exchange, sql, etc. (if you wonder at all, all the software is legal, I work at a microsoft parter who is also closely tied to courts around the world) the server has an ip on it's adapter of 192.168.0.1 and the dmz is assigned 216.135.67.50, and dns records are manually set for external addresses. internal addresses are ddns, i cannot have internal addresses register to a different dns since i only have one dns server.
