Anyone recommend a good windows scripting book? I am after WSH and VB...

thanks

There are many out there Juniper (I have had two and haven't been able to put a dent in them yet). If you need some decent scripts fast, you can download the MS Script Center which is available on the MS downloads' site. It's a bit dated but covers mostly WSH, VBS, and JS scripts for all kinds of common OS mgmt tasks.
Hope this helps.

I've got this one:
Microsoft Windows Scripting self-paced Learning
by Ed Wilson
ISBN: 0-7356-1981-6

although i also visit a lot cos of the sheer amount of scripts available.

I like the Microsoft Windows 2000 Scripting Guide, from Microsoft Press. It all applies to Windows XP and 2003 Server as well. I bought it about 4-5 years ago, and have been using it as a reference ever since.

I think that there may be a free, downloadable version from Microsoft's site now. Or at least an online version.
