Windows Scheduler

I have about 50 customers that use the Windows Scheduler to run a program each day. It is set to login a user (if not already done), run the program and then exit, log off, etc.

One customer actually uses the scheduler for two programs. One of the programs doesn't completely get removed from the processes when it is complete. This causes the process to not run next time it is scheduled.

Both programs are compiled VFP PRG's.

Any ideas?

Try this:

1. Right click on task and click Properties.
2. Go to Settings tab.
3. Check "Stop the task if it runs for: " or make sure that it is checked.
4. Set the time for 0 hours, 10 minutes (or however long is necessary for the process to finish).
5. If the task terminates before all the subprocess were run, create multiple tasks.

Good luck. Post back with results is possible.
