I have 10 workstations w/ windows XP pro and 1 Windows 2000 server w/SP4 and running in Application mode. all 10 of the stations was able to access the server using remote desktop a few months ago and now whenever the station wanted to access the server it gave error: "The remote computer disconnected the session because of an error in licensing protocol...."

The W2K server doesn't have any license server. As I understand as long as I used Windows 2000 Pro or Windows XP pro as a client, I don't need to buy additional Terminal Server CAL License.

Can anyone shed the light to this license issues or I need to buy extra licensing for Terminal server access.. Thanks...
