Window's refuses to boot up by pushing reset button.

Applies to WinXP also. When this happen's and you have pushed the reset button, tried everything else and OS still refuses to boot, on some computers,(not all) just push the ON-Off button and hold down for 4 or 5 seconds.
OS and computer will then boot up normally. (This is on a
550 MHZ computer with Win. XP Home installed.
 
That's in the Power Management in the Control Panel. You can change it from 4-second to instant power-off. Newposter
