Hi
I installed a new video card and when i booted up i got message "while initializing device NDIS" window protection error. will only boot up in safe mode with no cd-rom

does NDIS mean Network driver interface standard?
remove your vedio card and then power on your computer, see whether the problem is caused by the vedio card.
from the NDIS error , maybe some other motherboard interface has been changed...

Did you uninstall the old video drivers before you intalled the new card?
Device driver conflict?
