Im pretty sure this will only work in Internet Explorer, does anyone know a way to get it to work in Firefox?

Also, Ive associated TIFF files with Picture and Fax viewer, they open fine in IE. I would assume Firefox would see this association, but its not for some reason.

Have you tried (in Firefox):
Tools - Options - Applications - Find the file format on the left, and specify the program on the right
