I have a problem on a Windows NT workstation which is looking like an irq conflict. the system log is showing several errors, which may or may not be related, Please see below discriptions.
Event ID:24 A conflict has been detected between two drivers which claimed equivalent IRQs. Driver Serial, with device <\Device\Serial10000.Translated>, claimed an interrupt with Level in data address 0x28, vector in data address 0x2c and Affinity in data address 0x30.
Event ID:11 Error The hardware resources for COM1 are already in use by another device.
Event ID:3 User configuration data for parameter COM1 overriding firmware configuration data.
If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
