I guess it's not the same as configuring MQSeries Clients for Windows 95/98.

I've done everything exactly the same with NT as if configuring for 95/98 --

1. Install to c:\mqm)

2. Set the appropriate environment variables, in particular MQSERVER in Control Panel -> System (MQSERVER=channelname/TCP/xxx.xxx.xxx(1414)).

3. Verified the PATH for MQSeries on NT (c:\mqm\bin)

4. Tried the test with AMQSPUTC.EXE.

The only thing that I have not done, and this is where I need help, is create an MQM user group in the PDC. Is that really needed, because it's confusing on how to do it...

Don't bother with creating a domain group for mqm. You're just going to have to include the NT domain account that your client is running under into the local mqm users group on the server. Don't forget to use the setmqaut to setup the authorization access for this account to the MQ objects that the client needs (ie. a local queue).

Enjoy...
