I COULD INSTALL WINDOWS 98 AND WINDOWS 2000 ON MY HARD DISK. BUT WHEN I TRIED INSTALLING WINDOWS NT4 IT WILL WILL SAY IT CAN NOT FIND D HARD DISK OR THERE IS A PROBLEM WRITING THE CHANGES ON THE HARD DISK. PLS WHO KNOW THE WAY FORWARD?

How big is the disk?
Is it SCSI or IDE?
What File System is it formatted with currently, and what partition size(s)? [auto] MCSE NT4/W2K

The hard disk is 40 gigabyte in size and it is an IDE disk. I tried using both the FAT16 and NTFS file system without luck.

Install NT4.0 with a 2 to 4 gig ntfs partition... it does not support anything bigger.

Once installed.. you can create a second partition in Disk Manager and format it with NTFS Alshrim
System Administrator
MCSE, MCP+Internet
