What do I need to do to get a NT 4 server up and running as an IP router ? The server got 3 NIC's, with 2 workstations connected to 2 of the NIC's and one NIC for line out. IP forwarding is enabled on all NIC's on the server.
Should I be able to ping one workstation from the other workstation ?
I get periodical browsing of all computers in the workstation's network neighborhood. ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤

You need to set a routing table.

Start a command prompt and type 'route print', that will tell you the current route settings. You can modify/add/remove entries using the route command (type route /? for more info).

The idea is to tell the server which 'side' to send a packet to.

If you need specific info, post back.

the routing table will be built automatically if you enable IP forwaring
don't forget to set a gateway address on your clients, NOT on your server's network cards... Peter Van Eeckhoutte

Thanks. I'll try this as soon as possible. ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
