Hi all. Shortly we will deploy 2 Windows 2003 IIS servers using Windows NLB and one backend MS SQL server to a co-lo facility.
We have one Internet drop in the rack, and I was wondering if I obtain a new model 3com/netgear/dlink Layer 2 dumb switch should I need to configure anything for Windows NLB using Multicast to work?
What about if we had a Cisco PIX or ASA in front of the servers, would anything need to be configured to let Windows NLB - Multicast work?
Thanks in advance.
