Windows Movie Maker

Having a problem with Windows Movie Maker. I have a movie which includes ~150 pics and ~10 songs. When I try to make a movie (either cd or hard drive) the dialog box comes up and says it will take ~33,000,000 minutes to create the movie to be saved to the disc. So as of now, I have a 2700K file with links to all the data which is in different directories on my hard drive. I need to be able to put in onto a cd that I can play on a different computer. Any ideas? XP Home, 512 RAM, GeForce4 MX
I am stuck at this point. Thanks for any ideas.
