Hi. I want to put my windows media server and also my Macromedia Flash communications server behind my checkpoint and then NAT them. I dont see any services listed for either of those servers. I do see, RTSP, which i am also using. is defining the ports going to be good enough to allow the protocol to pass???

thanks in advance.

Jody

Hi,

You will need to figure out which ports you need to open first. This can be done by testing the application and monitoring the log. Of course you will want to turn on logging for all the rules in your rule base during this period. Once you establish which ports to open, you simply create the new services and apply them to the rule base.

Hope this helps.
