Windows Media player

I keep getting "an internal application error has occurred"
message. I have Windows Media player version 9 . I tried upgrading to ver.10 but get the same message. I rolled back to ver. 9 but still get the same error. Any clues how to fix? Thanks,

p.s I have real player install and it runs fine.

Look in Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer. Check both "Aplication" and "System" for errors at the time of Media Player error.
