Windows Media Player and Win XP- videos play upside down

Hello,

I have a Windows XP machine and I noticed that when watching video's with windows media player some of them play upside down (everything else works fine). Doesn't seem to be any specific type of media. I have tried using other media players and the videos work fine.

Any suggestions??

This doesn't seem to apply to your particular problem as such but I thought it is related enough to include it here.

My brother sometimes sends me Avi files, and if he holds the camera on its side the whole video comes out on its side. Is there any software I can use to make the video rotate, like you can with photos?
