have you tried ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS on the control panel?
You should be able to see the individual hot fixes and then media content.
You might want to go and download the latest update. Check on the microsoft download pages even if your WMP9 software tells you that you have the latest version. I've found newer versions after bieng told that by the software.
