HI.

I have recently installed Windows 98 and Windows 2000 using multi-boot. This works absolutly perfect !

When I try to run Media Player in Windows 98, it just comes up with mplayer has caused an error and I can either click details, or close ..

Any suggestions ?

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling? Should do the trick...

Yep ..

I am not sure exactly what is wrong, but I have always had this problem with WMplayer ..

Strange ..

Any other ideas would be useful.

Thanks for the reply ..

Also, what do you know about accessing a win2k share from win98SE?

:)

What is displayed in the details of the error in WMP?

Also, are you talking about accessing a Win2K share from Win98 over a network or locally on your system? You can only read a Win2K share if it's over a network. Otherwise, you have to make sure the share is formatted in FAT32 and not NTFS if you want to read it locally.
