windows ME won't boot after install of NAV 2004

I have a windows ME computer coming in tomorrow that had norton antivirus 2004 installed and now it won't boot. Has anyone had this happen. I would like a little heads up before it gets here!
They can't find thier OS disk of recovery disk. I should be able to get a boot disk at bootdisk.com
It doesn't start in safe mode so I'm not sure where to start. (probably try to use a boot disk)
Any suggestions.

well I got the computer today, plugged it in and it booted up with an error that it wasn't shut down properly and ran scandisk. Finished booting and all seems ok. Updated NAV ran virus scan (no viruses). I think shutting down and letting it sit took care of whatever was wrong. I think I will download spybot search and destroy and take off whatever spy/ad ware that may be there.
