Hi,

Win ME won't install if an NTFS system is installed on C.

Is there any way of doing this without having to change drive letters ? I don't want to reformat C as I can't do a backup at the moment: my CD burner only works on ME !

The XP bootloader isn't a problem: I just need to get the thing installed and can look after the booting with LILO.

Thanks in advance.

Dominic

You just need to hide the ntfs partition - then ME install will install no problem on other partition (which it will see as C:). ME partition must be primary. Don't know what tools you have to hide partition - but the excellent boot manager at (free for personal use) has tools to do this (in windows & dos).
