Windows Me connecting a remote Unix server (using DOS)

me and 16bit don't work there is dos support in me

Hi,
I am unable to connect Windows Me to a remote Unix Server? The application that is run is a 16-bit application.
When I connect I get an error "Not enough system resources to create window". My system is a 256MB RAM, 60Mhz. I am able to connect successfully from Windows 95/98/2000/NT. I encounter this problem only in the case of Me.
If somebody could help me it would of great help.
