I have been runnung VB6 on my desktop computer with Windows 98.
I have just bought a laptop (an HP Pavilion 5350) with Windows ME installed.
VB6 does not work very well om this notebook.
What is the best course to fix this?
Should I replace ME with 98? Or does VB6 have a fix for use with ME?
Any help would be appreciated.

VB6 does not work very well om this notebook.
MAY KNOW MORE DETAIL ABOUT IT,

I run VB6 in win ME is ok. Are you install SP4.

VB6 seemed to install ok on my laptop with ME, including sp4.
Double clicking on an object doesn't go to the objects code.
Also hovering over a toolbar icon doesn't describe it.
Too, the object browser always is expanded, I cant reduce it
or dock it.
All this makes for difficult programming.
The box my VB6 came in says it is for windows NT and 98.
Any help would be appreciared.

The Object Browser is the only window that you can't dock in the IDE. You should be able to close it, or hit Ctrl-Tab to go to your other code windows.

Can't help you with other issues, though, sorry.
