Windows ME and Goldmine.. Problems..

I have a co-worker running Windows ME and he was going to sync to our server. I setup the one button installation and installed it on his system. When double-clicking on the icon, nothing happens. When trying to run from the command line nothing happens, but task manager says goldmine is running. However I don't see it on the screen.

I have others who I setup the sameway using Windows 2000 or XP and they work fine. I checked for viruses & spyware, and did the updates. Any advice?

I've seen too many Windows ME problems to count. We don't support any GoldMine on Windows ME. As a general rule we can't track what causes the problems, but when a client runs GoldMine on Windows ME, sooner or later there will be problems.

Get your friend to upgrade to XP Pro, not HOME, but Pro... or have them go to Windows 98...

Putting on XP now. ME is total Crap, even though Goldmine says it'll work on it.
