Hi,
I've installed a suse linux 9.1 prof. From my local net (W2K and XP-clients) the connection to the internet works fine with sqid.
Now I want to use a windows e-mail client with the dsl connection over my ethernet.
What service I have to start on linux and how to configure?
The XP should recognize the open connection like I had local an ISDN-Connection opened.

Bye,
Peter

Hi,
found the solution in the internet.
You have to configure a firewall.
I used for this.
The example 2 I changed for my parameters and it worked.

What kind of service do you mean ? The services depend on your needs.
You just configure your windows email client using pop/imap protocol.
