Hello all,

I have a very simple question for someone who has already setup Load balancing on 2 W2k servers. - How do I make it go?

Our internal network is 192.168.1.1/24

Both servers have 2 network cards.
One network card in each server is going to be have a dedicated address, say 192.168.1.10 and 192.168.1.20 this card does not have load balancing selected.

The other network card in each server is going to be the load balancing card, so for the primary address (ie the virtual address) under the load balancing properties I use 192.168.1.15.

My question is specifically what address to I give to the adapter that is being load balanced on each machine? 192.168.1.15 (the virtual address) or 2 more unique addresses? - say 192.168.1.11 and 192.168.1.21.

I know this should be simple enough but I can't work it out? Any ideas?

Cheers Simon
